أمررْتُI passed كفاًa hand سبَّحتْglorified God فيهاin it الحصىthe pebbles
أمررْتُ كفاً سبَّحتْ فيها الحصى
وروَّتِand it quenched the thirst of الركبَthe caravan بماءٍwith water طاهرِpure
وروَّتِ الركبَ بماءٍ طاهرِ
I passed a hand in which the pebbles glorified God
and which quenched the caravan's thirst with pure water
علىover معاشيmy earthly life ومعاديand my hereafter وعلىand over
على معاشي ومعادي وعلى
ذرِّيَتيmy offspring وباطنيand my inward self وظاهريand my outward self
ذرِّيَتي وباطني وظاهري
over my earthly life and my hereafter, and over
my offspring, my inward self, and my outward self.
