أعدَّهُ الناسُ لسوءِ المزاجْ
Sulayman has died—the physician whom
people had readied for disorders of the constitution.
لمdid not يَفْدِهِsave him طبٌّmedicine ولمْand did not يُغنِهِavail him
لم يَفْدِهِ طبٌّ ولمْ يُغنِهِ
علمٌknowledge ولمْand did not ينفعْهُbenefit him حسنُexcellence of العلاجْthe treatment
علمٌ ولمْ ينفعْهُ حسنُ العلاجْ
Medicine did not save him, nor did
knowledge avail him, nor did good treatment benefit him.
