مُجالِسٌa companion مؤتَمَنٌtrusted
مُجالِسٌ مؤتَمَنٌ
يحملُhe bears عنيfor me الكَلَفاthe burdens
يحملُ عني الكَلَفا
My companion is my trusted confidant;
A trusted companion,
he bears my burdens for me.
Who bears my burdens for me;
يأتيhe comes إذاwhen جالسنيhe sits with me
يأتي إذا جالسني
بالكبراwith the great men والخَلَفاand the caliphs
بالكبرا والخَلَفا
Whenever he sits with me, he comes
When he sits with me, he brings
with the great and the caliphs.

أراهُ لي في خلوتي
