Sol 6.1

  1. فازَ حسينٌ بالثنا والهنا

    بصبرِهِ عنْ قدحِ الخمرِ

    Husayn won praise and happiness

    through his patient abstinence from the cup of wine.

  2. بُلي فعوفي واتقى فارتقى

    وهذهِ عاقبةُ الصبرِ

    He was afflicted, then healed; he feared God and so rose high.

    And this is the outcome of patience.
