ما ذكروا المصطفى بسوءٍ

ما ذكروا المصطفى بسوءٍ

إلا وسيقَ البلا إليهمْ

إلا وسيقَ البلا إليهمْ

They never spoke ill of the Chosen One

They did not mention the Chosen One with evil

without calamity being driven toward them.

Except that calamity came to them

فحبُّهُ رحمةٌ علينا

فحبُّهُ رحمةٌ علينا

وسبُّهُ نقمةٌ عليهمْ

وسبُّهُ نقمةٌ عليهمْ

For loving him is a mercy upon us,

So his love is a mercy upon us

and reviling him is retribution upon them.

And reviling him is a curse upon them
