1. وسامريٍّ مليحٍ

    يفوقُ غزلانَ رامَهْ

    And a handsome Samaritan

    surpasses the gazelles of Ramah;

  2. يطوي اصطباري بشَعْرٍ

    منشورِ تحتَ العلامَهْ

    he folds up my patience with hair

    spread out beneath the distinguishing badge.
