في حلبٍ قاضٍ على مالكٍ

في حلبٍ قاضٍ على مالكٍ

قد افترى ما فيه توفيقُ

In Aleppo there is a judge following Mālik;

he has fabricated lies; there is no divine guidance in him.

ومَنْ تَلَكّا معهُ قال قمْ

ومَنْ تَلَكّا معهُ قال قمْ

قدْ قيلَ لي إنكَ زنديقُ

قدْ قيلَ لي إنكَ زنديقُ

And to whoever hesitates with him, he says, “Stand up!

I have been told that you are a heretic.”
