تولاَّناhe took us under his care فأَوْلاناand so he bestowed on us
تولاَّنا فأَوْلانا
علىupon النعماءِthe blessing نعماءَa blessing
على النعماءِ نعماءَ
He took us under his care and bestowed on us
Blessing upon blessing.
وعهديand my recollection ماؤُناour water غوراًsunken underground
وعهدي ماؤُنا غوراً
فهذاso here is غَوْرُناour lowland ماءَwater
فهذا غَوْرُنا ماءَ
And I remember our water sunk underground;
Now our lowland is filled with water.
