كبنيانِ القصورِ على الثلوجِ
The stranger’s sojourns in every land
The stranger's dwellings in every land
Are like palaces built upon the snow.
Are like palaces built on snow.
فذابَthen melted الثلجُthe snow وانهدمَand collapsed البناياthe buildings
فذابَ الثلجُ وانهدمَ البنايا
وقدْand already عزمَresolved الغريبُthe stranger علىon الخروجِdeparting
وقدْ عزمَ الغريبُ على الخروجِ
Then the snow melted and the buildings collapsed,
The snow melted, the buildings collapsed,
And the stranger had already resolved to depart.
And the stranger was determined to leave.
