تَلِفَتْwere ruined مكاتيبُwritings الأنامِof the people بفعلهِby his doing
تَلِفَتْ مكاتيبُ الأنامِ بفعلهِ
وأبانَand he gave evidence عنof طيشٍrecklessness وكثرةِand an abundance of مَخْرَقهْtrickery
وأبانَ عن طيشٍ وكثرةِ مَخْرَقهْ
All people's letters came to ruin through his doing;
People's writings were ruined by his doing;
he laid bare his folly and manifold trickery.
And he showed recklessness and much trickery.
فرمىthen he accused الأكابرَthe great والأصاغرَand the small كاذباًfalsely
فرمى الأكابرَ والأصاغرَ كاذباً
بالكفرof unbelief أوor بالفسقِof wickedness أوor بالزندقهْof heresy
بالكفر أو بالفسقِ أو بالزندقهْ
He falsely accused the great and the lowly alike
Then he falsely accused the great and the small
of unbelief, depravity, or heresy.
