The grinder of choice wheat,
calls to the full moon—but why?
Calls out to the moon its mark,
قدْalready رقَّgrew slender خصريmy waist ونادىand he called out
قدْ رقَّ خصري ونادى
هذاthis الدقيقُthe flour; also the slender one (wordplay) العلامهْthe learned scholar
هذا الدقيقُ العلامهْ
My waist has grown slender, and he called out:
My waist has thinned and called out,
"This fine flour is the learned scholar!"
This is the grinder's mark.
