محدِّثٌa hadith scholar كالبدرِlike the full moon فيin
محدِّثٌ كالبدرِ في
هالةِa halo of قومٍpeople محدقَهْencircling
هالةِ قومٍ محدقَهْ
A hadith scholar, like the full moon in
A preacher like the full moon in
a halo of people gathered round;
The halo of a people staring at him-
عشَّاقُهُhis lovers مِنْfrom حولِهِaround him
عشَّاقُهُ مِنْ حولِهِ
همُthey رجالُmen of الحلقَهْthe circle
همُ رجالُ الحلقَهْ
his lovers around him—
His lovers all around him-
they are the men of the circle.
They are the men of the gathering.
