يا سيِّدَ الأمراءِ فتحُكَ سيسا
سرَّdelighted المسيحَChrist وأحزنَand saddened القسيساthe priest
سرَّ المسيحَ وأحزنَ القسيسا
O lord of the princes, your conquest of Sis
O Prince of Princes, your conquest of Sisa
delighted Christ and saddened the priest.

والمسلمونَand the Muslims بذاكَat that قدhave فرحواthey rejoiced وقدand have
والمسلمونَ بذاكَ قد فرحوا وقد
حمدواthey praised عليهِfor it الواحدَthe One القدُّوساthe Most Holy
حمدوا عليهِ الواحدَ القدُّوسا
And the Muslims have rejoiced at that, and have
