تُ إذا تكاثرتِ الهمومُ

Adinah is the finest I have seen

I confess it is the fairest sight

when worries multiply.

When cares abound, its boughs to me

تحنو عليَّ غصونُهُ

تحنو عليَّ غصونُهُ

ويرقُّ لي فيهِ النسيمُ

ويرقُّ لي فيهِ النسيمُ

Its branches bend tenderly over me,

In gentle murmurs seem to sigh

and the breeze within it grows gentle for me.

As in its shade the zephyrs die
