أمولانا شهابَ الدينِ إني

حمدْتُ اللهَ إذْ بكَ تمَّ مجدي
O our master Shihab al-Din, I

praised God, for through you my glory became complete.
Thanked God, for through you my glory was made complete
جميعُall الناسِthe people عندكمُwith you (plural or honorific) نزولٌguests
جميعُ الناسِ عندكمُ نزولٌ
وأنتَand you جبرتنيyou uplifted me ونزلتَand you lodged عنديwith me
وأنتَ جبرتني ونزلتَ عندي
All people are guests with you,
All people descend upon you
and you uplifted me and lodged with me.
Yet you lowered yourself and descended to me
