وفاصدٍ يقصدُ سفكَ الدما

وفاصدٍ يقصدُ سفكَ الدما

إذا شكونا إليهِ قال لا ضيرْ

إذا شكونا إليهِ قال لا ضيرْ

And a bloodletter intent on spilling blood—

A betrayer who intends to shed blood

When we complain to him, he says, “No harm.”

When we complain to him, he says no harm

أصبحتُ كالريشةِ في هجرِهِ

أصبحتُ كالريشةِ في هجرِهِ

وليسَ لي مِنْ عندِهِ من خيرْ

وليسَ لي مِنْ عندِهِ من خيرْ

I have become like a feather while he shuns me,

I have become like a feather in his abandonment

And no good comes to me from him.

And I have no good from him
