ياO شاكياًyou who complain منْof دولةِrule التركِthe Turks مَهْdesist!
يا شاكياً منْ دولةِ التركِ مَهْ
واثبتْand stand firm ثبوتَthe firmness of الجبلِthe mountain الراسيfirmly rooted
واثبتْ ثبوتَ الجبلِ الراسي
O you who complain of the Turks’ rule, desist!
O you who complain of the Turks' rule, stop!
And stand firm as an immovable mountain.
And be as firmly rooted as the mountains.
ماnot تفعلُdo التركُthe Turks كمعشارِlike a tenth of ماwhat
ما تفعلُ التركُ كمعشارِ ما
قدْindeed فعلَdid الحجاجُal-Hajjaj بالناسِto the people
قدْ فعلَ الحجاجُ بالناسِ
The Turks do not do so much as a tenth of what
What the Turks do is not a tenth
Al-Hajjaj has done to the people.
Of what al-Hajjaj did to the people.
