هامَ بِها الشّيطانُ في كُلِّ وادْ

هامَ بِها الشّيطانُ في كُلِّ وادْ

What a head, beyond God's protection,

Without God's protection from anxiety

with which Satan wandered through every valley!

The devil makes one anxious in every valley.

ما خلّفَتْ ذِكْراً ولا رَحْمَةً

في فَمِ إنْسانٍ ولا في فؤادْ
