فزَوىso he contorted الوجْهَthe face رافِضاًrejecting للفُتوّهْchivalry
The account of my derivation was submitted to Yahya.
My story of longing was raised to Yahya
So he frowned, spurning chivalry.
So he frowned, refusing madness
ورمَىand he threw بالكِتابِthe book ضُعْفَscantness of اهْتِبالٍregard
قُلْتُI said يَحْيىYahya خذِtake الكِتابَthe book بقوهْwith strength
And he cast the book aside out of scant regard.
And he threw the book with weak pretense
I said, "Yahya, take the book with strength."
I said: "Yahya, take the book with strength"
