يَادُرَّةً لِلْمَجْدِ مَكْنُونَةْ

يَادُرَّةً لِلْمَجْدِ مَكْنُونَةْ

حَاجَةُ مِثْلِي مِنْكِ مَضْمُونَهْ

حَاجَةُ مِثْلِي مِنْكِ مَضْمُونَهْ

O pearl, hidden away for glory,

O pearl hiding glory within,

The need of one like me is sure to be met by you.

One like me needs from you assurance,

وَمَنْ يَجُدْ بِالخُبْزِ مِنْ حَقِّهِ

وَمَنْ يَجُدْ بِالخُبْزِ مِنْ حَقِّهِ

أَنْ يُودِمَ الْخُبْزَ بِزَيْتُونَهْ

أَنْ يُودِمَ الْخُبْزَ بِزَيْتُونَهْ

And whoever gives bread generously has the right

And he who gains his bread rightfully

To serve the bread with an olive as relish.

Would not waste bread for olive's radiance.
