My strength failed me on the road to Shat.
My strength has failed me on the path of Shati
And the waistcloth wound around my suffering.
And my robe has whirled about my suffering
فلاso may not سنّىmake easy الإلاهُGod مَزارَa visit to شاطٍShat
إذاwhen ماever (emphatic) شاطَperished شطَّlay far away بِهاin it المَزارُthe destination
So may God not ease a visit to Shat.
So may God not ordain the pilgrimage of Shati
Whenever one perishes, the destination there lies far away.
When the pilgrimage sweeps over it
