مَوْلاَيَmy lord إِنْif أَذْنَبْتُI have sinned يُنْكَرُis deemed strange أَنْthat يُرَىbe seen
مَوْلاَيَ إِنْ أَذْنَبْتُ يُنْكَرُ أَنْ يُرَى
مِنْكَfrom you الْكَمَالُperfection وَمِنِّيَand from me النُّقْصَانُimperfection
مِنْكَ الْكَمَالُ وَمِنِّيَ النُّقْصَانُ
My lord, if I have sinned, is it strange to see
Perfection from you and imperfection from me?
