May you be rewarded, O son of God's Messenger, with the finest reward that
You have been rewarded, O son of Allah's Messenger, with the best reward
God has granted a noble of the House when He bestowed rewards.
That the God rewarded the honorable house on the day of reward,
إَنْif أَعْجَزَfell short of الشُّكْرُgratitude مِنِّيfrom me مِنَّةًa favor ضَعُفَتْproved too weak

If my gratitude has fallen short of a favor and proved too weak
If giving thanks from me has been made weak for a favor,
To meet even part of your due, God's gratitude has not failed.
Giving thanks to Allah did not fail for some of your right
