If the Spring of Tears is truly an eye,

then its pupil is where we are—no mere claim.

So may it remain a playground for the finest fellowship and merriment,

and may its blissful abode ever be my abode.

The Pleiades long to be its soil,

and Sirius praises it, and Al-Awwa guards it.
