عِنْدِي لِمَوْعِدِكَ افْتِقَارٌ مُحْوِجٌ

عِنْدِي لِمَوْعِدِكَ افْتِقَارٌ مُحْوِجٌ

وَعُهُودُكَ افْتَقَرَتْ إِلَى إِنْجَازِهَا

وَعُهُودُكَ افْتَقَرَتْ إِلَى إِنْجَازِهَا

I have a pressing need for your promise,

I yearn intensely for our promised time

and your pledges stand in need of fulfillment.

And your vows yearn to be fulfilled

وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ فِيكَ صِدْقَ مَوَدَّتِي

وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ فِيكَ صِدْقَ مَوَدَّتِي

وَحَقِيقَةُ الأَشْيَاء غَيْرُ مَجَازِهَا

وَحَقِيقَةُ الأَشْيَاء غَيْرُ مَجَازِهَا

And God knows the sincerity of my affection for you,

God knows the sincerity of my affection for you

and the reality of things differs from their figurative sense.
