How noble it is—a builder's edifice!

More firmly rooted in glory than Abān.

Contentment inclined my heart toward it.

From meanings comes the fruit of my gardens.

What fruit, within the hands' reach!

No rival has the strength to match it.

I swear by the Remembrance and the oft-repeated verses:

In all I have heard, you have no equal.

A wine kind to its vessels,

It rouses every weary one to speak.

Its arrangements say to the beauties:

So knowledge stands apart from the beauties' adornment.

O Lord, bless the one who built me,

    In thought, heart, and eloquence.
