لي اللهُ من عُنْوانِ مُلْكٍ مجَدَّدِ

لي اللهُ من عُنْوانِ مُلْكٍ مجَدَّدِ

تَروحُ هِباتُ اللهِ نحْوي وتَغْتَدي

تَروحُ هِباتُ اللهِ نحْوي وتَغْتَدي

God is my support—what an emblem of renewed kingship!

God has granted me the glory of renewed kingship

God’s gifts come toward me at evening and in the morning.

The breezes of God's gifts blow towards me and spend the night

بَناني أميرُ المؤمِنينَ محمّدٌ

بَناني أميرُ المؤمِنينَ محمّدٌ

سميُّ النّبيِّ الهاشِميِّ محمّدِ

سميُّ النّبيِّ الهاشِميِّ محمّدِ

Muhammad, Commander of the Faithful, built me,

The Commander of the Faithful, Muhammad, raised me

Namesake of Muhammad, the Hashemite Prophet.

The noble Prophet, the Hashimi, Muhammad

وقُلِّدَ جيدُ المُلْكِ منّي قِلادَةً

وقُلِّدَ جيدُ المُلْكِ منّي قِلادَةً

وكمْ زانَ حُسْنُ الجِيدِ حُسْنُ المُقلَّدِ

وكمْ زانَ حُسْنُ الجِيدِ حُسْنُ المُقلَّدِ

And kingship’s neck was adorned with me as a necklace;

And the neck of kingship was adorned with a necklace from me

How often the neck’s beauty has enhanced the beauty of its adornment!

How beautiful is the adornment of the neck, the adorned one

ونوّهَ في ربْعِ الخِلافةِ سعْدُهُ

ونوّهَ في ربْعِ الخِلافةِ سعْدُهُ

فلازالَ في سعْدٍ وعِزٍّ مؤيّدِ

فلازالَ في سعْدٍ وعِزٍّ مؤيّدِ

And his good fortune was acclaimed in the abode of the caliphate;

And he brought good tidings in the quarter of the caliphate, his happiness

So may he ever be sustained in good fortune and glory.

So he remains in happiness and glory, supported
