Deep-rooted glory and pride are rightfully mine.

And land and sea acknowledge the excellence you have attained.

I am the auspicious rising-place and the celestial sphere in which

The radiant sun and the full moon meet.

A mount of success, whose saddlecloth is good fortune,

And whose adornment is inlaid pearls and gold.

I remain still, though my lineage is among creatures with legs.

And even if I intended to journey, I would have no excuse.

Shall I leave the abode of happiness and contentment,

While the palace is my highest adornment and my realm?

Eyes are delighted by the sight of me when there appear

The wonders of my forms, and the breast expands with joy.

I have donned a robe of precious gold,

And taken a station beneath which lie the radiant stars.

Every praiser falls short in extolling it,

And it is impossible to count the sand or number the raindrops.
