هَنيئاً بِما خُوِّلْتَ منْ رِفْعَةِ القدْرِ

هَنيئاً بِما خُوِّلْتَ منْ رِفْعَةِ القدْرِ

ودُمْتَ قَريرَ العيْنِ منْشَرِحَ الصّدْرِ

ودُمْتَ قَريرَ العيْنِ منْشَرِحَ الصّدْرِ

May joy be yours for the loftiness of rank bestowed upon you,

Congratulations on the lofty rank you have been granted.

and may you remain contented of eye, serene of heart.

And may your eyes remain joyful and your breast at ease.

وبُشْرى بمُلْكٍ قدْ طلَعْتَ بأفْقِهِ

وبُشْرى بمُلْكٍ قدْ طلَعْتَ بأفْقِهِ

هِلالاً لهُ سيْرٌ الى رُتْبَةِ البَدْرِ

هِلالاً لهُ سيْرٌ الى رُتْبَةِ البَدْرِ

Glad tidings of a realm upon whose horizon you have risen,

And glad tidings of a kingdom on whose horizon you have risen,

a crescent whose course leads toward the full moon’s station.

As a crescent whose course leads to the rank of the full moon.

خلَفْتَ الأبَ المرْضيَّ خيْرَ خِلافَةٍ

خلَفْتَ الأبَ المرْضيَّ خيْرَ خِلافَةٍ

وقُمْتَ بأمْرِ اللهِ مُمْتَثِلَ الأمْرِ

وقُمْتَ بأمْرِ اللهِ مُمْتَثِلَ الأمْرِ

You succeeded your well-pleasing father in the finest succession,

You succeeded your esteemed father in the finest manner,

and took up God’s charge, obedient to the command.

And you took up God's charge, obeying His command.

ولمّا قضى المخْتارُ هلْ قامَ بعْدَهُ

ولمّا قضى المخْتارُ هلْ قامَ بعْدَهُ

بضمِّ شَتاتِ الدّينِ غيْرُ أبي بَكْرِ

بضمِّ شَتاتِ الدّينِ غيْرُ أبي بَكْرِ

And when the Chosen One passed away, who arose after him

And when the Chosen One passed away, did anyone rise after him

to gather the Faith’s scattered ranks but Abu Bakr?

To reunite the scattered parts of the faith, other than Abu Bakr?

سَعيدٌ على الإسْلامِ أنتَ وأهْلِهِ

سَعيدٌ على الإسْلامِ أنتَ وأهْلِهِ

فلازِلْتَ في سعْدٍ يَدومُ وفي نصْرِ

فلازِلْتَ في سعْدٍ يَدومُ وفي نصْرِ

You are a blessing to Islam and to its people;

You bring good fortune to Islam and its people.

may you ever abide in enduring felicity and victory.

So may you always remain in lasting good fortune and in victory.
