When you think of a noble homeland
from which a calamity of exile has driven you,

and time has given you the worst of homes instead,
and lodging in a dwelling with desolate surroundings,
فَأَبْدِthen show بِمَاin what انْتَقَلْتَyou have moved لَهُto it اغْتِبَاطاًdelight
وَفَكِّرْand think فِيof انْتِقَالِكَyour passage لِلتُّرَابِto the dust
then show delight in the place you have moved to,
and think of your passage to the dust.
