جاءَ العِذارُ بظِلٍّ غيْرِ مَمْدودِ

جاءَ العِذارُ بظِلٍّ غيْرِ مَمْدودِ

فمُنْتَهى الحُسْنِ منْهُ غيْرُ محْدودِ

فمُنْتَهى الحُسْنِ منْهُ غيْرُ محْدودِ

The cheek-down came with a shadow not outspread;

The cloud came with infinite beauty

so the height of beauty it brings is without limit.

Its utmost beauty has no limit

نادَيْتُ قلْبي إذ لاحَتْ طلائِعُهُ

نادَيْتُ قلْبي إذ لاحَتْ طلائِعُهُ

يا صَبْرَ أيّوبَ هَذا دِرْعُ داوُودِ
