فأنْتَ علَى فوْتِ الجَنى ثَمَرٌ فَجُّ

If neither paternal nurture nor the hard stone has polished you,

If fatherhood and pilgrimage have not refined you,

then, though harvest-time has passed, you are fruit still unripe.
