مَنْwho لِيfor me بِذَكْرَىwith a memory كُلَّمَاwhenever أَوْجَسْتُهَاI felt it

Who will help me against a memory that, whenever I feel it,
erases my solace and reinforces my longing,
وَسَحَابِand a cloud of دَمْعٍtears كُلَّمَاwhenever أَمْطَرْتُهُI made it rain
غَيْرَother than الْقَتَادِthe thorn bushes بِمَضْجَعِيin my bed لاَnot تُنْبِتُcauses to grow
and a cloud of tears that, whenever I make it rain,
grows nothing in my bed but thorn bushes?
