At Tajira there is a wind—may you be spared its cold
With peddlers the wind has rested you with its coldness
by God, who shows mercy whenever you ask Him for it.
A God, whenever you asked for his mercy, he is merciful
رَأَتْit saw عَصَبِيmy sinews غَزْلاًyarn وَجِسْمِيand my body مَرَمَّةًa loom

It saw my sinews as yarn and my body as a loom;
She saw my temper is unspun and my body is worn
so here it is, laying the warp and weaving the weft each day.
So here she is covering every day and mending
