ومولَعٍ بالكُتْبِ يَبْتاعُها

ومولَعٍ بالكُتْبِ يَبْتاعُها

بأرْخَصِ السّوْمِ وأغْلاهُ

بأرْخَصِ السّوْمِ وأغْلاهُ

And a lover of books, who buys them

Passionate for books, he buys them

At the lowest asking price and the highest;

At the cheapest and dearest prices

في نِصْفِ الاسْتِذْكارِ أعطَيْتُهُ

مُخْتَصَرَ العيْنِ فأرْضاهُ

In exchange for half of al-Istidhkār, I gave him
