Lo, may your morning be pleasant, O dwelling, and may you be safe.

And abide in God's protection, free from reproach.

And may your precincts never lack light, for they are

The rising places of my moons and the horizons of my stars.

If people forget their pledges and grow heedless,

Then my pledge to you is in my heart, and your remembrance on my lips.

And though I have resolved on a journey away from you,

And struck my camp to leave you without lingering,

My heart is yours; its abode is the Ancient House,

And my longing is my ihram, and my tears my Zamzam.
