َثِيبِى أَخاضارُورَةٍ أَشفَقَ العِدَى

َثِيبِى أَخاضارُورَةٍ أَشفَقَ العِدَى

عَلَيهِ وَقَلَّت فِى الصَّدِيقِ مَعاذِرُه

عَلَيهِ وَقَلَّت فِى الصَّدِيقِ مَعاذِرُه

Requite a man in dire need, whose enemies have felt pity

for him, and whose excuses for his friend have grown few.
