There is no one in existence or in the universe

Except one in need of the bounty of the One, the Unique.

All rely on His kindness, in need [the text irregularly reads 'upon me']

Of His overflowing favors—O excellent Refuge of all!

Glory to Him who created the worlds from nothing,

And encompassed them with His bounties and sustaining aid.

Blessed is Allah; you cannot number His praises,

And He is confined by neither limit nor number.

Allah, Allah—my Lord, who has no partner.

Allah, Allah—the One I worship and my refuge.

Allah, Allah—I seek no substitute for Him.

Allah, Allah—my aim and my reliance.

Allah, Allah—I cannot number His praises, nor

Do I hope in anyone else for relief from harm and obstructions.

Allah—I call upon Him and ask Him.

Allah, Allah—my hope and my support.

    O Unique One, O Ever-Living One, O Self-Subsisting Sustainer, O King,

O First, without beginning; O Last, [apparently: everlasting; the final word is unclear].

You are free of any need for equals or partners.

You are exalted above having a spouse or a child.

You are the succor of anyone whose paths have narrowed,

And of anyone beset by a grievous calamity.

You are the Near, the Answerer, the One whose help is sought.

And You, O my Lord, are watchful for those who hope.

I hope You will forgive me; I hope You will show me mercy.

I hope You will remove whatever crookedness is in me.

I hope You will guide me; I hope You will lead me aright,

To what is right in my conduct and my belief.

I hope You will suffice me; I hope You will enrich me,

By Your bounty, Allah—O my pillar and O my support.

I hope You will look upon me; I hope You will help me.

I hope You will set my heart right, along with my body.

I hope You will protect me; I hope You will guard me,

O my Lord, from the evil of those who oppress and those who envy.

I hope You will give me life; I hope You will take me in death,

With insight, goodness, and right guidance.

I hope You will honor me; I hope You will exalt me.

I hope You will make me dwell in the Garden of Eternity,

With kin and loved ones; and enfold us

In bounty and generosity, in this world and on the day to come.

I have turned my face toward You, Allah, in need,

To receive Your kindness, flowing without end.

And I never cease extending my palm, beseeching

You, in a state of destitution and plenty,

And saying, with a need that never leaves me:

O my Master, O Noble of Countenance, take me by the hand.
