لا تعش عن ذكر الإله فإنه
منwhoever يعشturns a blind eye عنto ذكرremembrance of الإلهGod يهينهHe abases him
من يعش عن ذكر الإله يهينه
Do not turn a blind eye to God's remembrance, for indeed He
Live not without remembering God, for he
abases whoever turns a blind eye to God's remembrance.
Who lives forgetting God, insults Him.
ويقيضand He assigns المذكورthe One remembered جلexalted is جلالهHis majesty
ويقيض المذكور جل جلاله
للغافلto the heedless one الشيطانSatan فهوso he is قرينهhis companion
للغافل الشيطان فهو قرينه
And the One remembered—exalted is His majesty—assigns
And God, exalted be His Majesty,
Satan to the heedless one, so he is his companion.
Ordains Satan as companion for the heedless one.
