You brought the people both quenched thirst and satisfied hunger.

So they dwell in the lushest summer retreat and spring pasture.

And you have left no act of generosity unperformed,

Adding one new bounty to another.

When you took office, you bestowed all goodness

Upon them, so they appeared in the loveliest robes of honor.

And enough for your glory is what your generosity has bestowed upon it:

Prayers raised for it in every gathering.

How splendid your days, complete in all their beauty!

So feast days and Fridays have no advantage over them.

May your endeavors endure, with fate favoring them,

As you grant mosques redress against churches.
