فَخْرٌ لِشِعْرِي عَلَى الأَشعارِ يَحْفَظُهُ
خَليفَةُthe caliph of اللَّهِGod كانَmay ... be اللَّهُGod حافِظَهُhis guardian
خَليفَةُ اللَّهِ كانَ اللَّهُ حافِظَهُ
My poetry has this distinction over other verse: it is memorized by
My pride for my poetry over other poems to preserve it
God's caliph—may God be his guardian.
