عَاجَ لَهُ دَهْرهُ فَعَاجَلَهُ

عَاجَ لَهُ دَهْرهُ فَعَاجَلَهُ

بِمُنكَرٍ مِنْ خُطُوبِهِ عَرَفَهْ

بِمُنكَرٍ مِنْ خُطُوبِهِ عَرَفَهْ

His fate turned upon him and swiftly struck him

He procrastinated, so time procrastinated against him

With a horror he recognized among its calamities.

With an evil among his afflictions that it knew

فَإِنْ يَكُنْ ذَنْبُهُ القُعُود هُنا

فَإِنْ يَكُنْ ذَنْبُهُ القُعُود هُنا

فَالتَّوْبُ مِنْهُ الوُقُوفُ فِي عَرَفَهْ

فَالتَّوْبُ مِنْهُ الوُقُوفُ فِي عَرَفَهْ

So if his sin is sitting here,

So if his sin is sitting here

Then repentance for it is standing at ʿArafah.

Then repentance is standing at Arafah
