And many a garden has come forth as a bride,
Many a garden arose in bridal finery
so the clouds crowned her and adorned her with a necklace.
To be crowned and begirt by the clouds,

كَما يُنْضَى عَلى دِرْعٍ حُسامُ
A pool within it is cleft by a stream,
While through it a streamlet flows
as a sharp sword is unsheathed over a coat of mail.
As a sword flashes through a coat of mail.
