Valencia, if you ponder her

When you think of Valencia

and her marvels, is the most radiant of lands.

And its wonders, the jewel of cities,

And my greatest testimony about her, drawn from her,

My greatest testament to it

is that her beauty is plain to the eye:

Is that its beauty is fleeting.

Our Lord has clothed her in a brocade of beauty,

Our Lord has clothed it in a brocade of splendor

with two ornamental borders of sea and river.

With banners of sea and valley.
