We ask for the mercy of the Merciful, the All-Merciful,

For Malik, son of Abid al-Rahman,

Until he is called: 'Arise, O Malik!'

For you are the finest possessor of Paradise.

You roam wherever you wish in the gardens,

With contented eyes and an expansive heart.

You wear every richly dyed, saddle-patterned robe,

As an honor bestowed upon the sons of al-Murahhal.

And beholding the noble Face—it is

The perfection of every blessing you find.

May God deprive no one of beholding Him,

For it is bliss on the day of meeting Him,

Until you are lost in the radiance of beholding Him,

And gain salvation among those who have beheld Him,

By the standing of Ahmad, the best of all creation.

May God bless him as long as time endures.
