وبالكَعبَةِand through the Kaaba الغراءِthe radiant عنaway from كلٍّevery كاعِبٍbudding-breasted maiden
وبالكَعبَةِ الغراءِ عن كلٍّ كاعِبٍ
تَسَلّىhe found solace فلاso not يَصبوhe yearns لأغيَدَfor a graceful, supple youth لاعبِplayful
تَسَلّى فلا يَصبو لأغيَدَ لاعبِ
And with the radiant Kaaba, leaving every budding-breasted maiden behind,
By the noble Ka'ba, from all false friends
he found solace and no longer yearns for a graceful, playful youth.
Take solace, let not the play of youths detain you,
وفيand in روضةِthe garden of المُختارِthe Chosen One أصبحَhe became هائماًenraptured
وفي روضةِ المُختارِ أصبحَ هائماً
يروحُhe goes in the evening ويَغدوand goes in the morning بينamong تِلكَthose الملاعبِplaces of play
يروحُ ويَغدو بين تِلكَ الملاعبِ
And in the Chosen One’s garden he became enraptured,
And in the garden of the Chosen One awaken
going evening and morning among those places of delight.
Wandering, walking amidst these playing grounds.
