بفانٍabout something perishable منamong الأعراضworldly possessions أخلَقَworn-out بالِdecaying
And how could I care, or occupy my mind
How can I speak or chatter idly,
With a fleeting worldly possession, worn and decaying?
Of ailments made of transient circumstance?
وهَبand suppose أنَّهthat it فيat الحالِthe present time يُصلحsets right باليmy affairs

And suppose it sets my affairs right for now—
Though for now they seem to give me trouble,
Is it not my undoing on the Day of Resurrection?
On Judgement Day they'll give me real trouble.

هوَHe المُصلِحُthe one who sets right الأحوالِaffairs دونَwithout تبالِworry
Besides, our generous Lord, through His grace,
For our generous Master, by his grace,
Is the one who sets affairs right, without worry.
Amends all states of being, effortlessly.
فكُنso be واثقاًtrusting باللَهin God جلَّexalted is He ولاand do not تَمِلincline

So trust in God—exalted is He—and do not incline
So trust in God, glorified is He, do not despair,
Toward wealth; you will prosper, away from slender arrows.
You will attain wealth beyond generous share.
