وإِني علَى ما هاجَ صَدْرِي وغاظنِي

ليأْمَنُنِي مَن كانَ عِنْدِي له سِر

ليأْمَنُنِي مَن كانَ عِنْدِي له سِر

Despite whatever has stirred my breast and enraged me,

And despite what has stirred my breast and angered me,

whoever has a secret in my keeping shall surely trust me.
