And conversation that revives the faded traces

Of glory, while its scattered pearls vanish.

ليس فينا الا الذي يبعد الهم

به ان أتى ويدنو السرور

به ان أتى ويدنو السرور

There is none among us but one through whom sorrow recedes,

Should it come, and joy draws near.

صاحب الفضل والشجاعة والجو

د ومن عنده العسير يسير

د ومن عنده العسير يسير

A man of merit, courage, and generos—

—ity, and one for whom the difficult is easy.

وامير الكلام فينا أمير الحج

مخدومنا الامير الكبير

مخدومنا الامير الكبير

And the prince of speech among us is the emir of the pilgrimage,

Our master, the great emir.

فكأنا عقد الثريا اجتماعا

وكأن الأمير بدر منير

وكأن الأمير بدر منير

So, gathered together, we are like the necklace of the Pleiades,

And the emir is like a radiant full moon.
