فَقُلso say لِلشامِتينَto those who gloat بِهِover him رُوَيداًnot so fast
فَقُل لِلشامِتينَ بِهِ رُوَيداً
أَمامَكُمُahead of you النَوائِبُthe calamities وَالخُطوبُand the tribulations
أَمامَكُمُ النَوائِبُ وَالخُطوبُ
So tell those who gloat over him: Not so fast!
So say to those who rejoice in it, gently,
Calamities and tribulations lie ahead of you.
Before you are misfortunes and calamities.
هُوَit الدَهرُTime الَّذيwhich لاno بُدَّescape مِنfrom أَنthat
هُوَ الدَهرُ الَّذي لا بُدَّ مِن أَن
يَكونَthere will be إِلَيكُمُagainst you مِنهُfrom it ذُنوبُwrongs
يَكونَ إِلَيكُمُ مِنهُ ذُنوبُ
It is Time, which is bound
It is fate, and it is inevitable
To inflict wrongs upon you.
That it will bring you sins.
